Leighton View

Leighton view which is a Supported housing project for people with health, mental and learning disabilities will be completing a sponsored walk on Sunday the 27th of August in aid of Fable.

In February of this year two amazing, fun loving characters sadly passed away within two weeks of each other, both James and Niall had different health issues, but this didn’t stop them doing what they wanted and loved in life. James was larger than life charter with a big heart who cared for his family and friends.
Naill was an enthusiastic young man who lived life to the fullest no matter what; nothing ever stopped him doing what he wanted in life.

Everybody at Leighton view thought it would be fitting to Niall’s memory that we helped a local charity. Fable was naturally our first choice being only up the road from our self’s, so on 27th of August 2011 we will be setting off from Meadowhall interchange and walking back from Leighton view S14 to raise as much money as possible on our way.

Please support us by making a donation via our dedicated just giving page which is http://www.justgiving.com/James-Taylor-and-Niall-McClaren-Hill

We are very pleased to welcome the support of all the residents of Leighton View and wish them well for their sponsored walk and hope it is a great success” – Fable Charity.

The Brownhill Family.

A local family from Sheffield have decided to do a number of things to help raise funds
for the charity.

Emma and her family and friends are doing a variety of fundraising activities throughout the year to help raise funds to help those affected by Epilepsy, as she knows only too much how isolating Epilepsy can be as her youngest daughter Amy has the condition.

Emma has been supported by fable, by always being there for Emma when she feels there is nowhere to go for support.

Emma has decided to give something back to the charity through raising funds to be used to help enhance the quality of life of other patients and their families.

She is selling a variety of branded fable merchandise, and has handcrafted some ribbon badges which she is also selling.

She is receiving a lot of assistance off her very close friend Louise Senior and we are very grateful to her for the valuable support she is giving Emma.

Emma has also persuaded Rainbow Forge school, which Amy attends to raise funds for the charity by holding an Easter Raffle.

“We are very grateful to Emma, her close family and friends for all of the support they are offering to Fable this year, and I hope they continue to have links to the charity in the future.”
