Through our Equipment Aid programme we will provide Epilepsy monitors and alarms
to detect the symptoms of a seizure, thereby giving peace of mind to family members or carers, not just at night but through the day. These unique epilepsy support and monitoring systems can detect bed movement or sounds associated with epilepsy spasms, urination, vomiting or prolonged bed vacation.

The Ep-it nocturnal Epilepsy support alarm systems are based around two monitors.
The entry level Companion is ideal for use at home or in care facilities can detect possible seizures that feature a strong presentation (e.g. Tonic/Clonic, Sounds, Vomiting or Incontinence).

The Guardian is used by many professionals due to its flexibility, and the
additional capability to monitor shallow movements as a protection from SUDEP or Tonic or Partial type seizures. Each monitor can be personalised based on the needs of the individual.

The SmartWatch is an easy-to-use, non-invasive wristwatch that continuously monitors movements and instantly alerts connected family members and caregivers upon the onset of repetitive, irregular shaking motion, via the free accompanying Android smartphone app that pairs with the SmartWatch.

Does it make a difference? ……. Yes
They provide continuous monitoring without constant or intrusive caring presence.
The most serious and worrying condition for carers is the night-time Tonic / Clonic seizure, which if left unattended can lead to a serious health risk. These alarms give peace of mind.
